KPS – Bumpy & Lumpy one day – Glassy and Smooth the next (feat. 1000s of blue bottles)

Kawana Pocket turns on a super fun day w/blue bottles!
I rate today’s surf at Kawana Pocket (KPS) as the best conditions to-date for 2010. Super glassy surf that was about 2-3 feet with pretty consistent sets providing really fun rides from way out the back to the sucky inside bowl.
I got stung about 5 times today from the blue bottles. I paddled into a few are they tangled and wrapped around my arms pretty quick, dam, they pack quite a sting.
The surf was too good for me to care though.
Check the setup with today’s pics (I only snapped a few as my battery went flat [I forget to charge it overnight!])

Yesterday the surf was wind-blown, lumpy, bumpy, washy, messy & pussy but did provide some sucky little closeouts.
This type of weak as piss conditions are far too common this time of year…
