Afternoon surf session at the Pocket
- Glassy afternoon surf at the Pocket!
I had a few beers at the Perigian Surf Club last night (caught up with old school mates) so todays surf ended up being an afternoon session at Kawana Pocket and the conditions were still quite glassy.
The swell was semi-consistent with a few big lulls between sets.
The better waves were around 3-4 foot and banking quite nicely with not many closing out.
As I was leaving the beach I spotted a famous aussie bodyboarder, Mike “Eppo” Epplestun. He was just gearing up for his session.
