Flat 23, 12 Leinster Gardens W26DR
This is my new address for the next 6 months.
Work had me in a place in East London for a month, so I was close to work near Canary Wharf. However I was still pretty far out on the East, it took a 40 mins DLR ride from the apartment to work.
I had heard that West London is the place to be. Lots of things to do and see and you get to see the old London style Terrace’s.
East London is more of a free for all in building architecture. The newer apartments look quite modern and generaly you are getting more space for your pounds. Plus the number of levels in the building seems unresticted.
Whereas West London still looks the same as when the Terrace’s were first built years ago. The country side seems lovely and there are many pubs, parks and shops to explore.
Where I am now is a 2 min walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. I may be a bit too central as it seems very “touritsy” at the moment. Everyday people are checking in to the local Hotels in my area.
I had to comprise on the travel time to and from work, any further west was just adding more time and would have made me get up earlier and get home later.
Ok so the flat.
It is very small.
A tiny little studio that just fits in my guns.
It will do for now, it has all I need, including bed, kitchen, bathroom, internet access and Sky TV including my favourite channels, Sky Sports 1,2 & 3.
Here are some pics of the studio or should I say shoebox.
The street view from the front door…
The view from the top level window…
The view of the amazing mezzanine stairs…
And finally the most thing the tv.

Errr … what are you doing posting your address on a public blog? Now that I have your address I can STALK YOU. *scary laugh*
Anyway – The fact that you have a staircase in your flat means that it is already 5 times bigger than what most people have here.
I found your blog when I did a search for “mortpig”. I found that when I noticed it came up in an email. Man you have that search term covered.
